The electronic payment of public administration services will be enabled in the next two weeks. At first, the citizens and businesses will be able to pay online for the services of the Ministry of Justice, Human and Minority Rights relating to the issuance of certificates from criminal and misdemeanor records.
This was announced by the Minister of Public Administration, Digital Society and Media, Tamara Srzentić on the occasion of the signing of the Cooperation Agreement with three commercial banks. This Agreement refers to introducing the electronic payment of administrative fees, and represents the last phase of the project.
The said Agreement was signed by the Minister of Public Administration, Digital Society and Media Tamara Srzentić, the Minister of Finance and Social Welfare Milojko Spajić, as well as the representatives of Hipotekarna banka, Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka and NLB banka.
Srzentić stated that the citizens and businesses will be able to pay administrative fees on e-service portals using their payment cards, without going to the public counters of various institutions.
"Both citizens and businesses have been expressing the need for such a system for a long time. In this way, for the first time, they can use Government services in the digital environment from start to finish. In the pilot phase, we selected two services of the Ministry of Justice, Human and Minority Rights, namely the issuance of certificates from criminal and misdemeanor records, which will now be payable online," said Srzentić.
Director of Digital Payments and Third Party Sales Department at Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka, Miloš Milić, said that the signing of the Agreement was a big step and that electronic payment of administrative fees would bring a very positive experience in the domain of digitalization.
"Everyone will have the opportunity to identify themselves online, apply for service and pay, and only do the final step at the counter - biometric identification and other things that are needed," said Milić.
