CKB donation to schools throughout Montenegro
Since its establishment, CKB has been paying special attention to socially responsible business, empowering young talents and children, supporting the healthcare and education system, arts and environment protection, but also the projects which promote the principle of equal opportunities for all.
Improving working conditions in educational institutions in the country is high on CKB's list of priorities, therefore, continuous support to schools is the focus of the largest bank on the market.
Continuing this practice, CKB donated funds or necessary equipment to the grammar schools in Rožaje and Kotor, as well as to primary schools: "Dušan Bojović" in Nikšić, "Dašo Pavičić" in Herceg Novi and "Ilija Kišić" in Zelenika. Also, CKB supported the work of the School for Primary and Secondary Music Education "Dara Čokorilo" in Nikšić and the "Princess Ksenija Ballet School" in Podgorica.
"Montenegro is a country of young, talented people who deserve the best possible conditions for learning and acquiring new skills. Societal development is based on the continuous improvement of the education system and it is the obligation of all of us to support institutions that foster and adequately develop the potential of future generations," said Mr. Pál Kovács, Chief Executive Officer of CKB.
On this occasion, Mrs. Branislava Maja Vukčević, Executive Director of Corporate Governance Division, reflected on the importance of socially responsible business for CKB. "It is our pleasure to encourage the children to acquire new knowledge and develop their talents more easily and successfully. We have continued our long-standing partnership with schools from all over Montenegro, and their number is growing every year. Therefore, even in these challenging times, we stay with those who nurture essential values, and this is the best evidence of the importance of socially responsible business for CKB", said Mrs. Vukčević.
