Global Finance: CKB is the best bank in Montenegro in 2021
Eminent financial magazine Global Finance has published a list of winners of the prestigious best bank award for Central and Eastern Europe.
For the third year in a row, CKB was named the best bank in Montenegro. In competition with banks from Central and Eastern Europe, two more banks from the OTP Group, OTP Bank from Hungary and SKB Bank from Slovenia, were awarded.
"The Global Finance Best Bank Award for Montenegro, which we are receiving for the third year in a row, is the result of the constant efforts of each member of the CKB team in a very challenging and dynamic period. In a year full of challenges, both globally and locally, we are proud to see that our work, commitment and caring attitude towards clients and the entire community has been recognized internationally. Earlier this year, Global Finance named CKB Private Banking the best private banking service in Montenegro. After the successful completion of one of the most complex merger projects in the Montenegrin financial market, CKB continues to operate as a highly liquid and reliable bank with stable growth potential and a wide range of services tailored to the needs of citizens, companies and the state," said Pál Kovács, CEO of CKB.
The awards given by Global Finance represent a reliable standard of excellence for the global financial community. According to the magazine's editorial board, this year's awards ceremony is the most important and most challenging in its 28-year history so far, given the unpredictable conditions caused by the global pandemic. Winners were selected based on business performance and criteria such as asset growth, product innovation, business development, but also leadership in digital transformation, relying on the assessments of financial analysts, consultants and corporate representatives around the world.
